(Associated Press) The Texas Department of Public Safety is planning to add 4,000 surveillance cameras along the Mexico border.
The agency’s director, Steve McCraw, says installations of the new devices will stretch from El Paso to Brownsville.
About 1,300 motion-sensitive cameras are stationed along the border.
