Speaking as a man and Father, you have beautifully expressed the wonder of the experience of being pregnant.

We also have a daughter who at the age of 18 became pregnant and chose to have an abortion. As others have experienced, not a day goes by that the choice does not haunt her. Even though she now has two sons, with the youngest being 17, it has not eliminated the regret.
