(WFSB-TV) The mother of a 3-year-old boy is in jail after her boyfriend allegedly beat her son so bad he had to go to the hospital.
Memphis police say the boy’s mother, Katrina Johnson, did not report the abuse until the day after it happened.
“It’s obviously sad,” Memphian Allan Brock said. “There’s a lot wrong with that story.”
Anthony Gulledge, 30, came home Saturday, January 10 and discovered the young boy had eaten the last piece of cheesecake. That’s when investigators say Gulledge grabbed the boy’s ankle, drug him into the living room, and whipped him.
