(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) CNN afternoon anchor Jake Tapper is hot — and not just for slapping down the White House for failing to send a top official to represent America at Sunday’s anti-terror protest in Paris.
For three weeks running, his show, "The Lead With Jake Tapper," has topped the 4 p.m-5 p.m. ratings in the key 25-54 age group demographic, beating out Fox’s Neil Cavuto.

What’s more, his viewership has jumped 75 percent in the past three weeks versus the same time period a year ago from 104,000 in the demo to 182,000, making him a CNN ratings success story.
