One of the many advantages of WND over other news media is that here you will be given information that the politically correct Marxstream media are too craven to share. In how many other media have you seen it reported, for instance, that no less a personage than the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, the nation's senior Muslim cleric, has opposed attempts by the justice ministry to set a minimum age of 15 for marriage?
Instead, Shaikh Abdulaziz al-Shaikh, who is president of the supreme council of Islamic scholars, has reiterated the Saudi religious council's fatwa to the effect that it is acceptable for men to marry girls even in the cradle, and to have sex with them as soon as they are capable of withstanding their husband's weight atop them.

The religious council's earlier fatwa, now endorsed by the Grand Mufti, says that the youngest of the Prophet Muhammad's many wives, Aisha, "was six when she married the Prophet, but he had sex with her when she was nine – that is, when she was deemed capable."
This is child abuse. Whatever may have been the practice in the Dark Ages, the ruthless exploitation of children by Muslim men for sexual pleasure has no place in a civilized world.

Saudi men have been taking the fullest advantage of Shariah law's readiness to allow the ruthless and often violent sexual exploitation of small children. As WND reported recently, rich Saudis, some of them connected with the royal family, have been buying child sex slaves from among the hundreds of thousands of refugees – many of them Christian – who have fled the Syrian civil war and escaped to Lebanon and Jordan.
One Lebanese source told WND: "The Saudis offer $200 for girls aged 9-14 years and take them from their families, who are so desperate for money that they yield to the temptation."

Mr. Obama, who has in the past been seen bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia, has been culpably silent on this barbarous exploitation of small children. The "Democrat" administration has nothing whatsoever to say in condemnation of this legalized brutality.
One reason for the embarrassed and uncharacteristic silence of Mr. Obama and his normally talkative Cabinet is, no doubt, that Mr. Obama has long been a supporter of a Western practice that subjects far more children to torture and death than the barbarities of the Wahhabist extremists favored and funded by the Saudi regime. That practice is abortion.
The Saudi regime is totalitarian. The Obama regime is totalitarian. And totalitarians everywhere follow a simple rule: Exploit anyone who has no voice and no vote.
Just as few in the West – particularly in the news media – will now speak up for the unborn children who are tortured and killed by abortionists in defiance of the Hippocratic Oath, so few in the news media will even mention, let alone speak up for, the hundreds of thousands of little children sexually exploited in the name of Islam.
There is only one convincing answer to the totalitarians. That is the Christian understanding that each human being, however tiny, is of unique value and importance because Almighty God not only chose to create him but also chooses – by what theologians call His "Conservative" power – to keep him in being from moment to moment by a conscious and continuous exercise of His divine will.

This is why Christians have stood against abortion (which, paradoxically, Islam also opposes).
However, the Christian faith is now so lamentably taught that few are now exposed to the three great powers or faculties that our religion accords to the Creator: the Creative, the Conservative and the Concurrent powers. The last of the three is the power of Almighty God to run with us wherever we may go, even if we decide not to follow His divine will. It is the power that gives us our free will.
So, what to do about Saudi Arabia? America is now powerless in the world, her armed forces run down well below the danger level by successive administrations, Republican as well as "Democrat."
Nor does America any longer have the financial clout to take on Saudi Arabia, whose ruthless oil cartel is currently forcing the price of oil down in the hope of rendering America's burgeoning shale oil and gas fields unprofitable more or less overnight, knocking them out of contention.

In all other commodities, the World Trade Organization has managed to make cartels illegal. The oil cartel, controlled by Saudi Arabia with its massive output of cheap oil from beneath the sand, is a glaring exception.
Saudi Arabia, therefore, has become not only the enemy of common decency in its sanctioning the sexual exploitation of children, it is also, and has long been, the enemy of economic stability.
All we can do, therefore, is what I am doing now: Assert that the Muslim mistreatment of small children is as unacceptable as the Western mistreatment of their unborn brothers and sisters. We can at least begin by stating where the moral yardstick points.
