(FOX10PHOENIX) — CHANDLER, Ariz. - A valley school teacher was arrested following a deadly crash in Chandler. Police say she was drinking and driving and according to investigators, her blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit.
Authorities say Erica Kristine Flynn's BAC was .283 and the crash killed a 66-year-old grandmother.
With a black eye and cuts all over her face, Flynn, 30, was booked into jail. Police say she was driving drunk when she crashed into another car, killing Kathleen Searcy. During the collision, Flynn wasn't wearing a seat belt and hit her face on the windshield.

"Very, very violent crash," said Det. Seth Tyler of the Chandler Police Department.
