(KVUE) KILLEEN, Texas – Tests on a 24-year-old Fort Hood soldier found dead outside his Killeen home Tuesday were negative for the Ebola virus.
Carl R. Darnall Medical Center medical officials confirmed at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 13 that the more conclusive PCR Assay test results are negative for the presence of the Ebola virus disease.
Earlier Tuesday evening, Fort Hood media relations chief Chris Haug said the initial tests on the soldier, who had recently deployed to Liberia, tested negative for the virus.
