(IJREVIEW) — Popular German toy company Playmobil, has released a unique, new figurine. The toy of Protestant Reformation minister, Martin Luther, has shattered sales records. The historical figure is the fastest-selling model the company has ever produced.
Playmobil sold out of the 34,000 first editions of the Martin Luther figurine in less than 72 hours.
Spokesperson Anna Ermann told DW: “That absolutely the fastest we’ve ever experienced.”
