Joe Biden: Where's my 'old butt buddy?'

(SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE) You just never know what will come out of Joe Biden's mouth.

Speaking in Iowa on Thursday, the vice president called out from the podium:

"And Neil Smith, an old butt buddy, are you here Neil?" Biden said. "Neil, I miss you, man. I miss you."
