(IJReview) It was every parent's nightmare. A mom in Central London at a pharmacy turns away from her baby stroller for a brief moment, and when she looks up, a stranger is choking her one-year-old.
The Huffington Post reported on the harrowing incident, which was captured on surveillance video:
Security video shows the attacker, wearing a striped poncho and a hat with ear flaps, walk calmly into the pharmacy at about 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 and approach the mother and her baby. The suspect appears to reach into the stroller while the stunned mom and a security guard look on.
