(Washington Examiner) Sen. Rand Paul won the 2015 CPAC Straw Poll Saturday.
The Kentucky Republican was trailed by Gov. Scott Walker, Sen. Ted Cruz, Ben Carson and former Gov. Jeb Bush.
Organizers of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, a massive gathering of conservative voters in a hotel outside of Washington, D.C., announced the results of the straw poll Saturday. The poll is generally seen as barometer of support for potential Republican presidential candidates.

There were 17 names on the ballot, including Walker, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and businesswoman Carly Fiorina.
