I left the Democratic Party in the late 1990s because the party was being taken over by radical leftists and the morally depraved. I couldn't stomach them anymore. (WND helped open my eyes!) But that Democratic Party of yesteryear look like episodes of "The Partridge Family" compared to today's version. Democrats are now totally off the rails morally and into heavy censorship and dictatorship, as well. They reject traditional American values, and like Obama, many of them despise America. Government is their Allah. If they had a creed, it might be go like this.
"We are the Democratic Party. There is no God except Government, and We are its prophet. Natural rights such as life, liberty, property or pursuit of happiness are a fiction. All freedoms are temporary conditions granted or withdrawn by Government at will. All wealth and income ultimately belongs to Government and is parsable and redistributable. Digression from prescribed groupthink or use of unapproved words are punishable acts against Government."
