It has been in the works for decades. We all know it, and we all have seen it coming. The Democratic Party does not like to lose elections, and they have been working hard to guarantee that they will never lose again. I don't mean that they are working at changing their policies or listening to the American people. I'm talking about stacking the deck and winning in a destructive, underhanded way that hurts this country and the American citizenry.
I am talking about winning elections by enabling millions of illegal immigrants to come to this country (most of whom will stay illegal), be able to vote and reap the benefits the "Santa Claus" Democratic Party will give to them. Under the Obama executive amnesty order, illegals who have been here at least five years and who are parents of U.S. citizens or legal residents will receive a three-year work permit. With this, they will get a Social Security number and a driver's license. The estimated amount of illegals getting this privilege will be approximately 3.5 million. Then there is the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program, which grants amnesty to all illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. as minors before 2010. That is probably around 250,000 more.
There are (supposedly) 11.3 million illegals in this country now, but we all know that number, like the unemployment numbers, is a joke. All of those people will be eligible for amnesty because Obama has the discretionary authority to decide who stays and who goes. And we know he doesn't want anyone to go. He needs them all to vote Democrat at the ballot box.

Last year we saw an influx of thousands of illegal children from South American countries flooding the border and our cities. They were each given a paper to show up in court and present a current address. As of this date, very few or none have shown up, and they have faded into the shadows. Big surprise.
So now we have millions upon millions of future Democratic voters because all of them can look forward to the benefits that coming here illegally will get them. They will be rewarded with the aforementioned work permits, driver's licenses, Social Security, Medicare and a variety of other federal benefits. They can enroll their children in our schools, (the DREAMERS get free college education as well), use our emergency rooms and receive a substantial cash payment, an "amnesty bonus"! Employers will begin to hire them over legal citizens, and once they get their Social Security number they can receive the earned income tax credit. This is utter madness! So, let me get this straight; The credit is not available if you don't have a Social Security number, but you can receive it retroactively for the years you did not qualify for it because you didn't have a Social Security number. Huh? So millions of illegals can file amended tax forms for the prior three years before amnesty, and they will receive billions of dollars in payouts. This will open the door to massive fraud and chaos.
You don't have to be a Republican to have your head explode over this one. I can't imagine a hardworking Democrat who works every day to support his or her family thinking that this is OK. They have to be as concerned as Republicans about the absolute lunacy of this whole situation.

The voting Democrats will have to realize that dangling all of these benefits and cash will only encourage millions more to flood the border and overwhelm our system and way of life. They have to see that their lifestyle and families are going to suffer because of the extra tax burden that will be thrust upon them. After all, these benefits have to come from somewhere, and they are not just coming out of Republican pockets. Sure, some of these people will pay taxes, but many will continue to work for cash under the table. The hardest hit will be the middle class of which there are many, many Democrats. Pretty soon it will dawn on the Democratic voters who came here legally and went through the process correctly that they and their children would have many more advantages if they had just stayed illegal!
Once citizenship and voting rights are established for all of these millions of immigrants, we will be a full-fledged socialist country. The middle class will disappear due to the massive tax burden they will have to endure, and they will become the working poor. We will be a country of two classes, rich and poor, because of Obama's redistribution of wealth. Once we become a Third World country, where will all the Third World immigrants go to escape their problems? They won't be able to look for "a better life in America," that's for sure. All of this for a Democratic power grab. No concern for this country, just concern for the political gain that they live for.
I can understand the hardcore leftist progressives and deadbeats celebrating this, but I can't for the life of me believe that clear-thinking Democrats would buy into it. They have got to see it for what it is and how we will all suffer, no matter what our party affiliation. The polls show overwhelmingly that Americans, most Americans, don't want amnesty and want the border controlled. They don't want to go to work and spend half their day earning money for someone who has broken the law and has no legal right to be here.
We are not a selfish people, but Obama has pushed us all to the breaking point with this amnesty issue. When we lose jobs and our system becomes overwhelmed, our children and families suffer, and our way of life spirals downward due to policies like this. I think most Americans agree that enough is enough; they see where this is heading. With a little less than two years of Obama's term remaining, he seems hellbent on continuing down this road. But he better watch out because this whole thing could backfire on the Democratic Party big time.
