(Daily News) Bristol Palin has met her match!
The 24-year-old daughter of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is engaged to Sgt. Dakota Meyer, a U.S. Marines veteran who was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2011.
Palin and Meyer both took to Instagram Saturday to announce their big news, with the bride-to-be posting a photo of her and Meyer celebrating their engagement with a kiss.

"Truly the luckiest girl in the world, cannot wait to marry this man!!!!" she wrote. Palin also gave fans a chance to check out her bling by a posting a separate photo of her engagement ring.
The former reality star's 26-year-old fiance is a decorated war hero, receiving the Medal of Honor in 2011 for saving the lives of his fellow Marines in Afghanistan two years earlier.
