(NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) A plane landing at LaGuardia Airport skidded off a snowy runway and slammed into a fence and nearly fell into icy waters, officials and witnesses said Thursday.
Delta Flight 1086 from Atlanta had just touched down at the Queens airport right before 11:10 a.m. and was rolling down runway 13 when it swerved and veered toward a fenced-in area.
