Donald Trump is expected to announce the launch of a presidential exploratory committee on Wednesday, a senior adviser said to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The adviser also said that Trump is not renewing his contract with NBC for his "Apprentice" series.

Trump's announcement, and his expected hiring of more campaign staff, is the first time he's made a serious move to run for the presidency. In previous campaign seasons, Trump has hinted and titillated, but never taken any steps to back his rhetoric.

His entrance into the Republican race could prove dramatic. Trump is known for blunt talk and possesses a penchant for skewering politicians who are "all talk and no action," the Union Leader reported. He's also referred to himself on several occasions as "the only one who can make America truly great again."
Trump has been a sharp critic of President Obama, calling him one of the worst U.S. leaders in the history of the country, particularly in the areas of the economy and foreign policy.

The New Hampshire newspaper said Trump hired Corey Lewandowski as a senior political adviser in February and has previously hired staff in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
