Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama
Clinton insider Ed Klein believes Hillary Clinton's email scandal may have been prompted by President Obama and ordered by top adviser Valerie Jarrett.
In an interview Wednesday with the Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends," Klein said he's not the only one who thinks that.

"Bill Clinton thinks this as well. He has said, according to my sources, that the White House is leaking to their … friends in the mainstream media stories about the Clintons; not only Hillary, but him, what she did while in the State Department."
Klein said his sources in the White House have disclosed that the Clintons "know that Hillary is under not one but six different investigations prompted by the White House."

At a news conference yesterday at the U.N., Hillary Clinton directly addressed media about the revelation that she conducted her business as secretary of state using a private email account instead of the secure and archived government system.

She acknowledged she deleted thousands of personal emails and said she turned over hard copies of messages to the State Department that she deemed to be work-related.
Last year, Klein released his book "Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas," which claimed there is a major conflict between the Clintons and the Obamas.
While the Washington Post reported in 2014 his book was outselling Hillary Clinton's "Hard Choices," it warned that a defining characteristic of Klein's biographies is that "the salacious details revealed often have a tenuous relationship with reality – as commentators of all ideological stripes have pointed out time and time again."
The report said while Janet Maslin of the New York Times called one of Klein's previous works an "excellent read and very insightful," Donald Trump wrote in the New York Post: "Ed Klein has a proven history of reckless fabrication in order to sell books. Nobody in their right mind would believe the nonsense."
In the Fox interview, Klein said his sources in the State Department say "tons of documents" are being examined from Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state, from her expense account to dealings with foreign leaders.

He said the email scandal was "prompted by Valerie Jarrett and the president who do not want to see Hillary Clinton president."
Klein said he was told that the president and others believe she is "very centrist" and fret that "she won't carry out the legacy of Barack Obama, which is much further to the left than the Clintons."
The concern, he said, is that "she'll cooperate with Republicans the way Bill Clinton did when he was in office" and end up diluting "whatever Obama was able to accomplish."
