Hillary Clinton faces widespread scrutiny for creating an email server in her home to be used for government communications.
Sen. Tom Cotton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in a Twitter over the freshman senator's recently penned letter to Iran about the emerging U.S.-Tehran nuclear deal.
The back-and-forth started with a statement from Secretary of State John Kerry, who claimed the United States was "not negotiating a legally binding plan" with the Iranian regime.

Cotton took to Twitter: "So then what exactly are you doing? RT @joshrogin: Kerry: 'We are not negotiating a legally binding plan' with Iran," Breitbart found.

He then followed that tweet with another: "Important question: if deal with Iran isn't legally binding, then what's to keep Iran from breaking said deal and developing a bomb?"
That's when Clinton – facing widespread scrutiny and criticism over her growing email scandal – jumped into the fray with her own tweet.

She wrote: "GOP letter to Iranian clerics undermines American leadership. No one considering running for commander-in-chief should be signing on."
Less than an hour later, Cotton fired back with a response.
"No, @HillaryClinton, letter to Iran helps protect USA from bad deal. No CINC should allow world's worst regimes to get world's worst weapon."
The social media dispute comes on the heels of the creation of a WhiteHouse.gov petition of opposition to the letter penned by Cotton and signed by 46 of his Republican colleagues. The petition seeks charges of treason against the 47 senators.
"We petition the Obama administration to file charges against the 47 U.S. senators in violation of the Logan Act in attempting to undermine a nuclear agreement," the statement at WhiteHouse.gov reads. "On March 9 ... 47 United States senators committed a treasonous offense when they decided to violate the Logan Act, a 1799 law which forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years. ... In attempting to undermine our own nation, these 47 senators have committed treason."
