You would have thought he was the devil incarnate.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani questioned whether Barack Obama loves this country.
He raised the question at a speech to Republicans in NYC, and with that, everything hit the fan.

The media went wild.
The bizarre part of it is that by focusing on what Rudy said in New York, they missed entirely a phenomenal speech he gave in Arizona.

But they weren't interested because they all operate from the same script.
Never mind the context.

Never mind the legitimacy of raising the question.
Never mind Obama's actions and statements that lead to such conclusions.
All that mattered to the nattering political sycophantic idiots in media – both mainstream and Internet – was that this man was questioning the president.
It isn't just that Barack Obama is the president but behind it all – and the unspoken issue – is the fact that he is touted as our first black president.
Apparently, that makes him untouchable and above any questioning or challenges.

I'm sorry, but no one has explained to me how the skin color of elected officials influences how we should judge the rationality and the effectiveness of their words and actions.
It's clear that Barack Obama, as well as all elected and appointed blacks, are essentially untouchable. That is absurd.
Barack Obama is a flawed human being, as we all are, but his position of power in our government makes him a legitimate target of criticism for his governing tactics.
But no, because he is biracial – white mother, black father.

But even that is ignored. He is black, we are told, so shut up.
In New York, Rudy Giuliani raised a question about whether the man in the Oval Office loves this country. He admitted it was a difficult question but it's one that needs to be asked when you weigh Obama's policies and decisions, many of which put this country and all Americans at risk.
But by Giuliani raising the issue of love of country and, yes, even patriotism, he went beyond the pale.
The media raked Giuliani over the coals. The attacks came from the left and the right, the libs and the conservatives.
They were so focused on trying to destroy him that they entirely missed the speech he made the same week in Arizona – a speech that excoriated Obama as president.
But a speech in New York is easier for media to cover.
One in Arizona? That redneck state? Where is Arizona anyway?
So they ignored it and missed a good, old-fashioned stem-winder that turned out to be the most truthful and honest political speech you can imagine.
I watched Giuliani as he spoke and I admit, I haven't been so moved by a political speech in decades.
You can see it for yourself right here.
It gave me chills as I realized Rudy Giuliani was speaking without the usual political filter and realizes we're being deceived by the man who is supposed to protect us.
His words came from the heart and were filled with passion and deep belief. Giuliani totally excoriated Barack Obama, his treatment of this country and citizens of allied countries and his policy in negotiating with Iran concerning nuclear power.
Feb. 13 was the day, and the event in Phoenix was a symposium, "Countering Islamic fundamentalism" sponsored by the Iranian American Community of Arizona.
Who knew there even was such a group, and in Arizona, at that?!
Giuliani wasted no time in recounting the horrific attacks by militant Islamists, from the Iranian hostage taking of Americans, through the Sept. 11 attack on our country to the deliberate targeting of Jews at the French delicatessen.
Through it all, Obama refuses to identify the attackers for what they are. Giuliani said, "What is wrong with him? Is there no passion or caring for the lives of those innocent people?"
He said it doesn't take a genius to see what is happening, but that the president doesn't.
He told the president to "Wake up! Come off the golf course. Come back to earth!"
In recounting the Iran Embassy hostages, he said the Iranians looked into the eyes of a weak president – Carter – and did what they pleased, until they looked into Reagan's eyes, and released the hostages.
Now, the Iranians want nuclear power, and Obama wants to negotiate.
The problem is, according to Giuliani, that they looked into Obama's eyes, saw weakness and are taking full advantage of it – and him.
And they're not the only ones.
Putin did the same after looking at Obama.
His conclusion: "I can take advantage of this man because he is weak."
As for an agreement with Iran – according to Giuliani, the only agreement must be that Iran does not get nuclear power.
In addition, he insisted that any agreement must be submitted to Congress so the American people can be heard.
He said this isn't a dictatorship, and the issue is too important to have a decision imposed on us by one man, who is defended by the media no matter what he does.
And what he's doing, according to Giuliani, is selling us out to Iran.
Giuliani was emphatic that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has every right and obligation to do all he can to protect his people from the Islamic threats to wipe his nation off the earth.
He likened that to how he would feel if he were mayor of New York City and someone threatened to destroy the city.
He said he'd go anywhere, anytime and do anything to prevent it and "wouldn't give a damn what the president of the United States thought."
He said that's what Netanyahu is doing and said, "That is a patriot! That is a man who loves his people! That is a man who protects his people! That's a man who fights for his people, unlike our president!"
That's blunt, and so was his conclusion as to Obama making a deal with Iran so it can have nuclear power:
"No, no, no! We will not sell out to Iran the way Chamberlain sold out to Hitler."
Gee, I wonder why the media totally ignored that Giuliani speech.
