(BBC News) Iran-backed rebels in Yemen have seized secret US intelligence files describing US operations in the country, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The files reportedly contained informants' identities as well as counter-terrorism operation plans.
Yemeni officials sympathetic to the Houthi militia gave additional files to the rebel's Iranian advisors.

Last year, US President Barack Obama lauded operations in Yemen as a model for battling Islamic State.
