Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is going to get in the ring – with one of boxing's greatest punchers, Evander Holyfield.
It's all to raise money for Charity Vision, a Salt Lake City group that provides medical assistance for impoverished and needy children who have problems with their vision, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

And Romney's maintaining a sense of humor – but he sounds a bit nervous about the bout.
"It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious," he said to the newspaper. "It won't be much of a fight. We'll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit."

Romney is 68. Holyfield is 52.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the charity drive is expected to bring in big sponsorships from area corporations, in the range of $25,000 to $250,000.

"We just thought it would be a lot better to provide this kind of entertainment rather than just have dinner and listen to speakers," Romney said.
Romney, who lost his presidential bid to Barack Obama in 2012, just announced a few weeks ago that he wouldn't be making another run for the executive office – which would have been his third try – in 2016.
