(ORLANDO SENTINEL) — Students at a Volusia County high school were sickened after consuming hash-laced brownies a Spruce Creek High School student brought to school today.
A many as 10 students at the Port Orange-area school ate the brownies, including four who were transported to a hospital, said Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman Andrew Gant.
"Several others went home with their parents. Investigators are working to identify any additional students who might be affected,'' Gant said in a statement. "Investigators also have identified the student responsible, and that student is in custody."
