Ruth Marcus, a columnist for the liberal Washington Post, said on national television the donation scandal that’s heating in the media about the Clinton Foundation is putting Bill and Hillary Clinton in the poorest of lights.

And no matter what’s proven fact versus fiction, the reality is the blooming controversy is “simply inexcusable,” she said, on “Face the Nation” on CBS.

Specifically, Marcus called the “sloppiness” on the part of the Clinton Foundation to report donations and properly file paperwork and the “greed” of its officials to take in money from “particularly questionable people” a scenario that’s “simply inexcusable,” she said, Mediaite reported.

The Clinton Foundation has been fighting off allegations it took in money from overseas’ governments and Hillary Clinton, in turn, used her secretary of state position to dole out political favors. Recent polls show Clinton, who just announced a run for the presidency in 2016 for the Democratic Party, has a trust issue with the American people.
