Rush Limbaugh
Limbaugh defended Sen. Rand Paul after his widely-discussed interview with "Today" host Savannah Guthrie this week.
"She showed open disrespect," Limbaugh told his audience. "She had no interest whatsoever in the substance of what he was saying and tried to prevent him from saying or contributing any substance. She's the one that scores."
"Savannah Guthrie says, 'I got a Rand Paul interview!'" Limbaugh said. "Rand Paul, he's seen arguing with a reporter, not being treated with respect, not being treated as she treats everybody else – as though we're buds and friends (Free audio)."
Limbaugh had a lot to say about the damning independent report proving that a Rolling Stone magazine article about "campus rape" was a complete fabrication.
He explained that for liberals, the truth is less important than "raising awareness."
"The fact that there's no evidence is irrelevant, because the seriousness of the charge warrants the story being written," Limbaugh explained
He also noted that "liberal programs" are almost always "abject failures," but "you're not supposed to point that out. We are never to look at the results. We are only supposed to examine and judge and be impressed by the good intentions."
Michael Savage
"Many of you are anguished because you don't see any salvation," Savage said after Sen. Rand Paul entered the GOP nomination race, leaving Savage less than impressed.
"So who do we turn to?" he wondered. "We've entered a new phase in world affairs."
"Is Obama a delusional academic idealist who doesn't really know what's going on or is he playing for the other side? It doesn't really matter, because the end result is the same (Free audio)."
Talking about the president's interview on National Public Radio about the Iran nuclear deal, Savage asked, "Have you ever heard anyone as incompetent as this in the Oval Office?
"If you watch the interview, you see Obama looking like a scared child who got caught lying (Free audio)."
Mark Levin
Talking about Rand Paul's entry into the 2016 race, Levin told Sean Hannity that America had only had "two conservative presidents in the last hundred years: Coolidge and Reagan." He didn't hold out much hope that any Republican president would ever try to unravel the "leviathan" of the state.
Levin added that for once it would be "exciting" to back a GOP candidate for a more inspiring reason that "we have to stop the Democrats (Free audio)."
The shooting of an unarmed man by a South Carolina police officer was one of the most talked-about news stories this week. Levin says that shooting the suspect in the back was completely unjustified, but added that incidents like this one give race hustlers another excuse to extort and exploit Americans (Free audio).
Glenn Beck
"We said we would never let the world fall into this darkness again. And yet here we stand."
Beck warned his audience that a Christian "holocaust" had begun in the Middle East, and that "God is condemning all of us now" for failing to stop such atrocities.
"The American Revolution, the Civil War and the Civil Rights Movement came and were won from the pulpits first," he pointed out. "The pulpits should be on fire, but our pulpits are barely an ember! It's shameful what is happening!"
"God will not hold us blameless," Beck added. "So I suggest that you reach out to the Coptic Christians. They're persecuted. They need your help."
