Former Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann had some harsh words for the looming nuclear deal between the United States and Iran, labeling it a harbinger of World War III and chastising President Obama for even considering it.
"This literally is the worst part of the Obama presidency," she said in a radio interview with "Florida Live" host Dan Maduri. "This puts Iran in a position where they would have the firepower to be able to take out not only Israel, but they would have the firepower to use intercontinental ballistic missiles against the United States with nuclear-tipped warheads."

Obama, meanwhile, told NPR the proposal would halt Iran's development of a nuclear weapon, and the United States was adamant the regime should not have access to such technology.
"We have been steadfast in the defense of Israel when it comes to them defending themselves even when there have been periods of great international controversy," Obama said, Raw Story reported. "So what I would say to the Israeli people is you are right to be suspicious of Iran ... but ultimately, Iran is deterrable."
Bachmann didn't see it that way, however.

"This [deal] virtually guarantees, in my opinion, a World War III," she said. "I think that alone would qualify Barack Obama for being the worst president that the United States has ever had to endure."
She also questioned why Obama seemed so concerned with finding amicable ground with Iran.
