(KIROTV) — PULLMAN, Washington — A dog who was hit by a car, struck on the head with a hammer and buried in a field, showed up four days later at a nearby farm in Moses Lake, Washington.
The dog (now 'Theia') received care at Washington State University's Teaching Hospital following the incident.
It is believed that someone attempted a 'mercy killing' using a blunt item, similar to a hammer, after being hit by a car.
