Substitute teacher charged with school threat

(WFSB-TV) Putnam police confirm that a middle school substitute teacher has been arrested after allegedly threatening to "shoot up" a classroom.

The female is a substitute teacher at Putnam Middle School, but her identity has not yet been released.

Police said the woman was arrested as a result of the alleged investigation that reportedly happened on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the students are safe and no students were injured during the alleged threat.
