(Statesman-Journal) A Turner woman arrested after allegedly striking an Alabama man in the head with a metal baseball bat, has been arraigned on charges of first-degree assault.
Haley Fox was arrested on charges of attempted murder, April 9, after she allegedly invited Samuel Campbell to her home in the 7000 block of Lipscomb Street SE, and took a bat to his head.
According to the probable cause statement provided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, upon arriving at the home, Fox, 24, led Campbell to a small metal table outside the residence and poured him a glass of wine. She then told him to close his eyes and while standing behind him struck him three times in the back of the head.
