I have seen reports whereby Armenians talking publicly about the Armenian genocide are "confronted" by pro-Turkish government people, dispatched by the Turkish consulates in the U.S. ["Pope again stokes World War III fears"]
The Armenian Genocide was 1.5-2.5 millions Armenian Christians slaughtered by the Turkish Muslims in a 1915 pogrom. The Turks say the Armenians sided against them with Russia; even if true that does not warrant a genocide.
I comment frequently on the Armenian genocide on the Internet. I find my comments are countered by an inordinately high number of pro-Turkish people – orchestrated and downright anti-Armenian.
Armenia was the first Christian nation. Armenian knights fought in the Crusades on the Christian side.
Turkish bias against Armenians is ugly but tolerated in America. In Turkey such free speech would not be tolerated. It is time for Americans to "get educated" on the events surrounding the Armenian genocide. The Jewish genocide was the second genocide of the 20th century. A Christian genocide is in the hopper for the 21st century. It will make the genocide of Jews and Armenians look like a walk in the park if decent people do not speak up.
The Turks are Muslims. They tolerate NO DISSENT nor Christians, if they can do something about it.
