(NBC NEWS) The jury reached a verdict Friday in the death penalty phase of the trial of convicted Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
The verdict was to be read in court in Boston at 3 p.m. ET. The jury got the case on Wednesday and deliberated for nearly 15 hours.

The parents of Martin Richard, an 8-year-old boy killed in the attack, were in court for the verdict. They had not been seen in court during the penalty phase. The head of the Boston FBI office was also in court.
