Michael Savage

Michael Savage

A conversation with a devout Christian caller led Savage to share his religious views with his listeners.

“How does God permit a school bus full of Christian children to go off a cliff and all the children on the bus die?” he wondered. “How did God stand by while Jewish children were being tortured to death in front of their mothers and then thrown into an oven? I actually believe that God has no effect on a moment-by-moment basis or a person-by-person basis. If I did, then I’d have to stop believing in God (Free audio).”

Later in the week, Savage said he was pleasantly surprised after the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals blocked Obama’s amnesty scheme.

“I didn’t expect this to happen, but I think the system is starting to work,” Savage said to his audience. “The system, established long before Obama, Michelle and the other radicals took over America, will eventually reign in these revolutionaries. King Obama has been blocked by a federal court. What this means is that the revolutionary and his wife and their minions – who have nothing but contempt for Congress, the Constitution for we the people – are going to have to come up with a new scheme to flood America with illegals (Free audio).”

Rush Limbaugh

Soccer isn’t America’s favorite sport by any means, but football fan Rush Limbaugh chimed in this week after FIFA officials were accused of bribery.

Limbaugh told his listeners that the international soccer governing body had also contributed to the Clinton Foundation, which is embroiled in controversies of its own: “Why is FIFA giving money to the Clintons? Is Hillary known for playing or loving soccer? Is Bill known for loving soccer? It’s clear, the FIFA guys, this is how they do business. They expect tax breaks. They expect gifts. They expect that if they are going to award, say, the World Cup to a country, to a city or whatever, that city is gonna end up paying them for the privilege and then some, both above the table, above the line and below the line.”

Over at National Review, Kathryn Jean Lopez noted that Limbaugh’s recommendation of Kirsten Powers’s new book, “The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech,” “changes everything. His word of recommendation and praise can be a great gift to authors.”

She also quoted Limbaugh a warning: “So here comes Kirsten Powers, an appreciated and endowed, accepted ranking member of the Left calling them out. And so now they’ve gotta destroy her. She’s no different than if she were me, as far as they are concerned. They used to like her, they used to appreciate her, and some still do, but she’s got to be shut up.”

Aaron Klein

Does the Democrat’s new platform resemble communism? Last week, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a 13-point national “Progressive Agenda” that is being touted as the liberal “Contract with America.” The aim is for the “Progressive Agenda” to become the basis for the Democratic Party’s main economic policies, including those of its 2016 presidential candidate.

Aaron exclusively showed his listeners that most of the 13 points in de Blasio’s “Progressive Agenda” are also found in the manifestos and literature of the Communist Party USA and the Socialist Party USA.

With Benghazi heating up again, Aaron showed a newly-declassified Department of Defense document which may shed light on why air support was never sent to the doomed Benghazi facility during the Sept. 11, 2012, attack. The new details also may also help to explain why it took hours for an American-provided C-130 cargo plane to take off from Tripoli for the short flight to Benghazi to help evacuate survivors.

Hillary E-mailGate continues: Aaron raised questions about why correspondence from Hillary Clinton’s personal email account made public Friday by the State Department was not designated officially as classified. One of the Clinton emails, first reported by the New York Times, concerns the whereabouts of U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens while he was stationed in arguably one of the most dangerous zones in the world for any American diplomat.

Listen to Aaron Klein’s show every week on radio (AM 970 The Answer in NY; NewsTalk 990 AM in Philly) or online.

Mark Levin

Levin probably surprised some listeners when he criticized panelists on Fox News for not treating Rick Santorum with sufficient respect.

Levin said that after they aired Santorum’s announcement that he was running for president, Santorum “was mocked, essentially,” by the cast of The Five. “I’m really starting to believe that some of these outlets that we’ve come to rely on are actually kind of harmful (Free audio).”

“Who the hell does she think she is?” Levin boomed as he listened to Michelle Obama’s Memorial Day speech. “She’s never had to send anybody anywhere to fight.”

While playing a segment of the first lady’s speech, Levin drowned it out by singing “God Bless America (Free audio).”

Laura Ingraham

Ingraham’s guests this week included Gov. Rick Scott, who ripped into the proposed “Obamacare” expansion plan; commentator Larry Kudlow, who told Laura, “I think Scott Walker is right about not participating in Florida for 2016 race;” and Gov. Walker himself, who said, “This country is not doing enough to stop radical Islam” and “We need a government that is small enough to succeed (Free audio).”

Glenn Beck

One of Glenn Beck’s statements caught the eye of the self-appointed fact-checkers at Politifact this week.

He said on the air: “Let’s remember one thing about this woman of the people. She knows a few things about making money. She makes more per hour at a speaking gig than the average CEO does in a year. … But let’s have her lecture us about those out of control CEO salaries.”

Politifact ruled Beck’s statement to be “mostly false,” but some might object that they relied in part on data from the liberal Economic Policy Institute to make their cases.
