The republic: Already dead

Regarding your column "Do you want a communist America?" – how did this happen? How did we reach this state of affairs?

Yes, no God means government becomes God. That's why our government hates Christians.

If you look at Karl Marx's 10 points for communizing a country – income tax, central bank, government "education," no private property – we are pretty much already there.

I do believe the two things that killed America as a republic of limited government with "certain unalienable rights" were 1) fiat money that fueled unlimited government growth, and 2) government schools that turned students heads into communist mush.

Any hope? Can entities like WND turn things around? Will unalienable rights continue to be superseded by majority vote?

America just elected a communist for president two times in a row.

Perhaps the Internet and sites like WND offer hope, but you well know of the government assault on them.
