Best option for the White House

I've done my own personal research into the candidates for these Republican primaries. From what I've gathered, the best two are Ted Cruz and Rick Santorum.

Only a few weeks ago, I was turned off by Rick Santorum accepting Bruce Jenner's decision to become "Caitlyn" Jenner.

I think Ted Cruz is the best option. Am I right? Please let me know.
