Jack Lew, Treasury secretary, said by 2020, the U.S. $10 bill will feature the face of a female, in addition to that of Alexander Hamilton.
"The next generation of currency, starting with the new $10 note, will include various design features that celebrate democracy," Treasury put out in a statement, the Blaze reported. "In keeping with that theme, Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew has decided that the new $10 note should feature a woman who was a champion for our inclusive democracy."

Lew hasn't yet announced which female's face will join Hamilton's on the note. But in the running: Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks.
Lew said Treasury will announce its pick later this year. In the meantime, he's urging Americans to generate some buzz about the redesign via the hashtag #TheNew10 on Twitter, along with a message about what democracy means.
The redesign is primarily aimed at preventing counterfeiting, Treasury said.
