“Unsubscribed to TV land because of your removal of Dukes of Hazzard!” wrote Angel Medlock.

And another, from Dawn Rachelle Kindred: “TV land … Why would you take off a good wholesome family show like Dukes of Hazzard??? I enjoyed sharing my childhood tv shows with my children and you have just ruined that. With all of the terrible tv programming on nowadays, you were one channel that I allowed them to watch. So very sad that you turned political!”

Another, from Macy Ruhl: “NO MORE DUKES OF HAZARD – NO MORE TV LAND.”

William Ted Watkins wrote similarly, saying “I am boycotting TV land until they return the Dukes of Hazzard!”

And more: “Need to bring back the Dukes of Hazzard!!! Nothing wrong with that show!!!” wrote Brad Oakes.

The Blaze, meanwhile, reported other commenters were much harsher in their criticisms.

Judy Gooden, for instance, wrote: “Wll TV Land … ya’ll r idiots. .. boycott tv land … bring back ‘Dukes of Hazzard.’ how can ya’ll be so stupid? Bye tv land … won’t be watching anymore! Done!”
