Pretty bummed to see how much attention people give to a flag while there seems to be very little mention regarding the fact that California just passed an astonishingly invasive, tyrannical and medically biased bill into law. It's one thing to recommend a medical treatment to families, but I am really confused how people can think ostracizing and banning children from public education over a choice in medical treatment is OK. Have we really gotten to the point as a society where we scream for equality for people on one hand, but just shrug off the fact that private medicine is being mandated on every child in an entire state?
Please ask yourself this question. How many more medical procedures and products do you think this could carry over to down the road? Even just in theory. If vaccines are required for "public health" by law, then do you think it will stop there? If so, you really don't understand how loudly money speaks. I'm sure these manufacturers (and others) are already cooking up some ideas for products they can lobby to mandate down the road. You may agree with vaccinating, but remember that if you remain silent on this and allow others to have products or medical decisions forced on them, then you have no room to complain when politicians begin to force other products or procedures on you and your family down the road.
Please think about this issue as something beyond the vaccines themselves. Look at the law for what it is. It is private medicine mandated for monetary gain. Whether you think vaccines are helpful or not should be irrelevant in this since I would hope that everyone agrees that denying children public education due to something like this is absolutely crazy. And yet it seems like very few of us actually think this way. Back to the confederate flag, I guess.
