The coming together of people in the aftermath of the South Carolina church shooting to support the families of the victims and the church itself not only made me proud to be an American, but it also made me proud to be human. Whites, African-Americans, Hispanics and others sent a great message that day. It was a message of compassion and love.
Unfortunately, there are members of this society that live on chaos. These politicians, members of the mainstream press, racial hucksters and so forth, have a compelling interest in fomenting division among the American populace. These people and groups seek to divide Americans by race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation and class. By doing this, they feel that they can achieve power in society and in government. What they end up doing is causing bitterness, anger, resentment, suspicion and hostility toward one another.
People and groups like the mainstream press, Bernie Sanders, the Democratic Party, La Raza, the NAACP, Jorge Ramos, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Julian Bond, Eric Holder, Charles Rangel and others in the grievance industry do not want Americans to come together and solve problems. If that happened, these people and groups would be out of business. By polarizing society, they achieve monetary gain ill-gotten, the projection by the press of themselves as leaders of an oppressed group and the portrayal of their cause or group as victims of an unjust society. These people and groups need to shunned and not honored in any way.

By removing problems away from the people, and from the real racism that exists, the grievance mongers hurt and not help the people they claim to support. In the end, it is not about the people they purport to care about. It is about their bottom lines.
