Front lawn dinosaurs cause stir in neighborhood

(USA Today) A Texas couple is putting the average homeowners guardian lion statues to shame with a prehistoric twist on their lawn.

Nancy Hentschel and her husband found two metal sculptures of dinosaurs while on vacation in Arizona and decided to bring them home, KTRK-TV reported.

The T-Rex and Velociraptor sculptures sit near the couple’s front walkway and appear to lunge at an unseen victim.

“Obviously it does make a little bit of a statement,” Hentschel told KTRK-TV. “And I’ve met more neighbors in the past 24 hours than I have in the 17 years we’ve lived here.”
