Shock radio jock Howard Stern issued his prediction for the Republican Party nominee for president on his most recent show, saying unequivocally: Donald Trump is the man.

“I’ll tell you why I think he’s going to be the nominee,” SiriusXM radio’s Stern said, the Hill reported. “He’s proven that no matter what he says, people dig him.”

Stern pointed to the issue of immigration as an example.

“[Voters] hate illegal immigrants but they just feel funny saying it – whether it’s rational or not. ‘Is the illegal immigrant draining your economy?’ Possibly. ‘Is he taking away your job?’ Possibly,” Stern said.

Stern also reiterated what others have said about the Trump factor and the billionaire’s popularity among Americans – that “more or less, people are super tired of politicians,” he said.

Do you support Donald Trump’s no-nonsense candidacy? Tell the world with this brand new magnetic bumper sticker: “DONALD TRUMPS THE REST”

“Meaning,” Stern went on, the Hill said, “that they like the idea of a successful businessman running the country who might actually be able to get [expletive] done.”

And yet, Trump may not like what he wins, Stern cautioned.

“The problem with it is, and Donald Trump will find this, being the president isn’t like being the president of a corporation,” he said. “You still got to go through Congress for everything you want to do. And that’s the tough part. You’ve got to be one who can consolidate on both sides of the aisle, some sort of coalition. And it’s very difficult.”
