Have you heard the one about the two illegal aliens who were appointed city commissioners in Huntington Park, California?
When I heard about this story a few days ago, I laughed out loud and thought it was a sick joke, but then I caught a news story on Neil Cavuto's show, and my blood started to boil. Yes, believe it or not this is true. It is not a joke, and it is coming to a city near you. Mark my words: As California goes, so goes the country.
I started to do some research trying to find stories on this and noticed that the mainstream media were virtually ignoring it. That is par for the course, but I thought at least the local news would cover it in depth. What little information I could find came from little-known conservative websites that featured the story as their headline item. The silence from the big guys (except for Fox News) was deafening.

Here is the story in a nutshell. City Councilman Jhonny Pineda appointed two young men who are illegal immigrants to serve as city commissioners. One will be in charge of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and the other will be dealing with the Health and Education Commission. They will be unpaid (for now) for their work and will be treated as volunteers, but they will still make decisions, sit in on meetings and will be accepted as members of the commissions.
Pineda makes excuses for his lunatic decision by saying "they have been community volunteers for a lot of years. … They just happen to be undocumented." Really? And he doesn't think that is a problem? According to the city attorney's office, there is no law on the books that would prevent either man from serving on a commission. Gee, I'm not surprised. Who would have ever thought that we would have needed a law on the books making it illegal to put illegals in a legal position to make decisions on city commissions!

Fifty-eight thousand people live in Huntington Park. Fifty percent of them are foreign-born, and 97 percent of them are Latino. However, not all 97 percent are illegal, and there was disagreement about these illegal residents being given opportunities legal citizens did not get. Former Councilwoman Linda Caraballo voiced her opposition to this decision, but there were others in the same meeting who supported it. The mayor, Karina Macias, did not see any problem at all with illegals being commissioners. She basically justified it by saying, "They have every right to be at that table because they are part of our community." Oh, OK, so I guess if I decided to live illegally in Mexico I could run down to the local town hall and demand my right to make decisions on behalf of the "legal" Mexicans in the community. This is insane!
Huntington Park is a city that has long been an entry point for illegals coming to this country, and the neighboring city of Maywood is a "sanctuary city" protecting illegals from deportation. Little by little California is becoming an extension of Mexico and no one is doing anything about it. Not one lawmaker in this state will stand up to the huge Latino lobby that is pushing this agenda.

Gov. Jerry Brown has stood with his arms out saying to illegals, "You are all welcome in California." So out here in the Golden State, put a fork in us because we are done.
America, you had better wake up. We currently have about 43 million immigrants in the U.S. population. There is such a flood of people that there is no way we can possibly know who is coming in here and whether or not they are terrorists who mean us harm. I realize that we are a loving and giving country, but forgive me – we need to close the doors for a while. I am not a racist, I am just being a realist.
California is giving illegals every opportunity to live as legal citizens. They already have driver's licenses and can sign up for health care, school and benefits. No one is checking their ID, and many are already registering to vote. One of the strongest activist organizations in California is the California Latino Leadership Institute. They are dedicated to making sure that they get Latino's elected to high government positions as well as local communities, and that the borders are open to Latinos. There is no concept of being "legal" to the activists who support this agenda. They feel "entitled" and legality has nothing to do with it.
You need to pay attention to what is happening in California because it is coming soon to a neighborhood near you. If it hasn't already, it will. Don't be blind to the fact that this will get to your community; it probably already is or is in the process of being organized. Just remember that national elections are decided in just a handful of states, and once the Democrats own those states there will be one-party power.
