A safari guide was mauled to death by a lion in the same Zimbabwean national park where Cecil roamed – the lion that was shot and killed by an American dentist on an organized hunt.
Killed by a lion was Quinn Swales, 40, as he was walking a handful of tourists in Hwange National Park. The beast suddenly charged him, and he died from injuries suffered during the attack, CNN reported.
“Quinn did everything he could to successfully protect his guests and ensure their safety,” said the company he worked for, Camp Hwange, on its Facebook page.

Nobody was else was hurt in the attack.
The incident comes just a month after Cecil, a black-maned lion who drew visitors from around the world, was killed when he was lured from his abode by Walter Palmer and his guides during a paid hunt. Palmer said he didn’t know the lion was living under protected conditions and claimed he was only following the directions of his guide.
