State bans executions for death-row inmates

(NEW YORK POST) They raped and murdered a Connecticut mother and then burned her two daughters alive — and now they’re being shown mercy?

Connecticut’s highest court on Thursday spared the lives of all death-row inmates in the state — including the two fiends who killed nurse Jennifer Hawke-­Petit and daughters Michaela, 11, and Hayley, 17, in Cheshire in 2007.

The ruling sparked outrage from the victims’ family.
