(EUGENE REGISTER-GUARD) — Prosecutors have filed criminal charges against a Thurston High School teacher who resigned in July after allegations surfaced that she had sent nude photographs to a male student.

A judge on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for Stephanie Rodakowski, who faces misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and evidence tampering. She is scheduled to be arraigned today in Lane County Circuit Court.

An investigator’s affidavit filed in court in support of the warrant states that Rodakowski, 31, admitted under questioning that she had sent nude photographs of herself and sexually themed text messages to a 15-year-old student; had kissed the same boy in her classroom; later ordered him to delete all content she had sent him via cellphone; and then falsely told Springfield School District officials that the teen had shared one of her naked pictures with other students after stealing her phone.
