Hello, Mr. Farah, As a teacher for 22 years, I have seen our education system turn into the indoctrination of reliance of government, the lack of personal responsibility, as well as the contempt for liberty.
I was a huge fan of the late Samuel Blumenfeld and used many of his quotes in my book “Public Schools – The Worst Case of Child Abuse in American History.” His legacy must continue; someone needs to take his ball and run with it if we are to save education and save America.
We must stop letting evil take our eye off the ball. Rather than focusing on each individual dilemma and who is to blame, we need to focus on the CAUSE. The cause of our dilemmas in America is the curriculum in our public schools.
Our instruction consists of the dangers in global warming or environmentalism, sex education, abortion and multiculturalism, to name a few. If you truly examine these subjects, you will realize they are all popular liberal issues; and the direction taught is from a liberal point of view.
Point in case, students are encouraged to accept that man is destroying the world. Abortion is not simply encouraged, but schools transport students to have it executed. Students are not merely taught to tolerate an individual; they are instructed to tolerate individual actions whether or not they are contrary to parental beliefs.
Abraham Lincoln articulated, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” In addition he enlightened us with, “The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.”
While the focus is on immigration, debt, taxes, etc., our children’s minds are being manipulated to a liberal point of view, a view that will destroy America.
We MUST take our schools “Back to the Basics” and let our children grow up being proud of America, not ashamed, as well as being academically sound.
