(GBTimes) A mother forced her young son to swallow live frogs in hopes of “curing epilepsy” in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
The unnamed woman was very worried when the three-year-old started showing various symptoms which she believed to be signs of “epilepsy,” reported the Chinese language China News Service
The woman’s friends told her to try a folk medicine tip – swallowing live frogs. The friends claimed the “treatment” had worked on other kids. The mother then decided to give it a try.
