I am a devout Christian woman who has a son who professes the gay lifestyle. He knows that I love him but could never condone this lifestyle because of my desire to please God.
I think we have lost sight of God's authority in all the uproar about this marriage license fiasco with Kim Davis. First of all, there is no such thing as same-sex marriage. It is an oxymoron. This union can only be identified as a union legalized by this country for tax and insurance savings, etc. God created marriage for a man and a woman and considers same-sex unions as an abomination. God is the one who joins a man and woman in marriage, not a license.
You don't have to feel guilty because it has nothing to do with God and never will. Wherever and whenever this license is put into effect, we can be assured that God is not there and cannot be there because He cannot be where there is sin. So, you see, it is a business transaction, not a Godly transaction.

We talk about separation of church and state. Well, I believe it is time that our government get out of our marriages and leave it where it started, which was with God. If they want to identify some other type of union that is not biblical, then do that and keep it separate from what God has ordained.
The government has not truly thought this out. There is now no definition of "marriage," so before long you will soon see non-gay same-sex couples getting "married" to avoid higher taxes, etc. This alone could cripple our economy.
