(IJReview) A new movie called "Muhammad, Messenger of God" is getting rave reviews in Shia-based Iran where it was partially filmed and funded. But even as it makes its worldwide debut, Sunni Muslims are calling for the film to be banned. Why? Because of its depictions of Muhammad.
The Jersualem Post reports, for example, that Egypt's Al-Azhar institute has called for the ban. Images of Muhammad are verboten for Muslims, but as The Jerusalem Post reports, the Shia sect is a bit more relaxed about it -despite its condemnation of the Charlie Hebdo Magazine depictions of Muhammad.
