(New York Daily News) A 7-year-old Australian boy miraculously survived an attack by an aggressive kangaroo using a defense method he learned in school — "the kangaroo roll."
The first-grader, Nathan, was attacked by a large kangaroo last week after spending time at a neighbor's house in Gulmarrad in the Clarence Valley, Australian news website Prime7 is reporting.
"We just think Nathan must have scared this [kangaroo]," the boy's mother told the news station.
