Minorities? They’re conservative!

By Amir George

Two “big lies” are the major barrier to the “taking back” of America.

The first is that conservatives cannot win general elections.

Trump is showing overnight that in fact that is not true.

He is further showing that the conventional wisdom – minorities will never vote Republican and to win the election you have to go moderate – is wrong!

One strangely never discussed fact is that most minorities and immigrants are in fact more conservative than the general population.

Take, Latinos – they are nearly all Catholic!

They believe strongly in family, life, hard work and more.

Blacks?

What is the center of black society?

The church!

The biggest secret of America is the truth about the actual beliefs of minority communities.

They are for the most part more conservative, more pro-life and harder workers than other Americans.

In fact, just last Saturday a black American supporter of Donald Trump vigorously demonstrated his displeasure with the current administration, saying on video: “We’re taking back America!”

An amazing set of figures:

Approximately 77 percent of Americans consider themselves Christians – but approximately 83 percent of blacks consider themselves Christians and approximately 91 percent of Hispanics.

Wait a minute … what is wrong with this picture?

It is a big lie that minorities chiefly identify with liberalism. In reality, they identify with conservatism in nearly every area – from a belief in freedom to caring for women to life, to just about every other conservative theme.

Also, the greatest area of outreach to, as Trump says, “Make America Great Again” is the minority and immigrant community.

Immigrants risked their lives to come to America, so they love it more than any other!

What about immigrants?

Why did they risk everything to come to America?

Because they voted for America with their feet and believe it is the greatest nation on earth!

The problem?

Conservatives have foolishly given up on minorities, when in fact they are their strongest believers.

Stop giving up on approximately 23 percent of the population!

Minorities do not need to be “taken back” but simply reminded of the very Christian values of life, hard work, caring for the needy and valuing women they stand for.

My family was driven by Mohammedism from their beloved Iraq because they were Christians.

When my father was young, my grandfather sat him down and gave him a very powerful admonition:

“You are an American. Honor the home country and keep it in your heart, but now you are an American. This is now your country! Never look back!”

That is the message to all.

The future of a great America is to reach out to all Americans who share a Christian faith, honor hard work and have a positive worldview – the largest percentage of whom are minorities and immigrants.
