Many now say there is little difference between Republicans and Democrats. And there is surely some truth in that. But look at the differences in the presidential candidates.
Each Republican has been a governor, senator or CEO. One has been a surgeon of apparently exceptional skill. So, obviously, they are achievers worthy of some degree of admiration.
And the Democrats give us Hillary – a woman so insecure in her female identity that she refuses to wear traditional women’s dress.
And despite her positions as senator and secretary of state, she has no record of notable accomplishment. Yet many view her as a role model. This is difficult to understand. Unless, of course, one admires the ability to overlook – or even enable, as some say – a husband’s serial infidelities.
